Feels historical and is certainly a gem, with its hand-hewn logs and chinking. Every corner of the house was hands on to create a true mountain cabin. The log cabin is a peaceful retreat. A second level 436 square feet open loft, primary bedroom with a picturesque sitting view window show casing the mountain view of the Tetons. The main level adorns a cozy fireplace, antique oven and stove, built-in dining area, vintage lighting fixtures and a spacious bathroom with a large soaker antique clawfoot tub. Ample space in this cabin with plenty of windows allowing the aspen trees and evergreens to display their beauty. Privacy is not an issue with all the mature trees.
The walk-in and walk-out 717 square feet lower level host the mudroom and laundry area, a wine and or pantry room, a storage area, a sauna, a shower, and a roomy den that can either be used as additional living space or a second bedroom. For a true camping feel you can have quests stay in the 1967's camper that has been frame with an enclosed lean-two and yes the original outhouse still stands and is operatable. Take a walk through the aspens to the "Kiva" the hut is stick built and used as a mediation space and yoga practice.
